This page was created because we fear that the official page will disappear soon. The forums are full of spam, the maintainer can't be contacted and the last official release of sdlBasic was two years ago. We want to preserve sdlBasic so we moved the source and documentation to our servers. Our forum member gersen has done some bugfixing. We will release the bugfixed versions here.
sdlBasic is a nice BASIC for game development. (2D only)It comes with its own IDE based on Scintilla and is multi-platform. The latest stable release works on Linux and Windows. On Ubuntu sdlBasic is in the official repositories and can be installed with ease. Programs can be made executable, so that they can be distributed as a binary.
